HOMIE: Human-object Centric Video Personalization via Multimodal Intelligent Enchancement

Human-object centric video personalization (HOCVP) is a core task within subject-driven video generation. However, existing methods suffer from two key limitations. First, most approaches focusing on inter-subject personalization still struggle to strike a balance between high subject fidelity and accurate interaction patterns between humans and diverse objects, especially when objects represent abstract concepts such as logos. Second, while intra-subject references (e.g., OCR maps, multi-view inputs) are expected to enhance subject fidelity, most existing works lack mechanisms to understand s

SLAI T-Rex: Full-Parameter Post-training of the DeepSeek-V4 Family on Ascend SuperPOD

Full-parameter post-training of trillion-parameter-scale MoE models introduces substantial system-level challenges for large-scale distributed training, including severe memory pressure, non-overlapped communication overhead, and inefficient kernel execution. While most large-scale LLM training systems are built around GPU-based clusters, this report presents an end-to-end optimization practice on the Ascend NPU SuperPOD. Using the DeepSeek-V4 model family as the target workload, we develop a hierarchical optimization framework spanning model-level parallelism, computation-communication orches

oHC: Orthogonal Hyper-Connections on SO(4) via Quaternions

Hyper-Connections (HC) replace the single residual stream of a Transformer with $n$ parallel ones, mixing them at every layer with a learned $n \times n$ residual matrix. Leaving that matrix unconstrained places no limit on the factor by which the mixing step rescales the residual streams, and that factor compounds across layers, which destabilizes training. Manifold-constrained Hyper-Connections (mHC) address this by restricting the matrix to the doubly stochastic matrices. That caps the factor at one, so the mixing can no longer amplify any direction, but nothing bounds it from below. We pro
