Why would you use an AI to write your replies on Reddit?

More and more, people use AI to write their replies and posts, which to me at least is very counterintuitive. Why would you want to essentially reduce your account to being bot ran? Seems like that even if your thoughts are less coherent, they’re still your thoughts. If you aren’t writing your own stuff, there’s not really a point to having an online presence at all, since you don’t have one if someone else is writing your replies for you. I think drafts
