BiSCo-LLM: Lookup-Free Binary Spherical Coding for Extreme Low-Bit Large Language Model Compression
Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly constrained by memory capacity, weight bandwidth, and checkpoint storage during deployment. Existing low-bit compression methods mainly follow two directions. Scalar or group-wise quantization is simple and compatible with efficient low-precision kernels, but its representation capacity becomes limited when the target budget approaches 2 bits per weight. Vector-quantized weight compression provides a richer block-level representation, but usually introduces explicit codebooks, index lookup, and additional storage accounting. This paper presents BiS
Kaleido: Algorithm-Hardware Co-Design for Video Diffusion Transformers by Exploiting Latent Space Correlations
Video diffusion transformers (vDiTs) generate high quality video but introduce extremely high compute cost due to the long diffusion timesteps and self attention computation. As diffusion timesteps are reduced, the computation cost of self attention becomes the dominant bottleneck. Existing acceleration approaches largely inherit sparse attention techniques from large language models, which fail to consider the unique spatiotemporal correlation of video data. This paper presents Kaleido, an algorithm hardware codesign that accelerates all operations in vDiTs by exploiting channel-wise spatio
